Ode to the Stranger, #2

A gentle symphony of words, born of depth,
Amidst a relentless tugging of heartstrings.
Behold, a lover unfolds his heart wide open!
A fleeting glimpse becomes forever treasured.

Drowning out the indolent cacophony,
Of the emptiness and the mechanics,
A stubborn dream refuses to be uprooted,
From the sacred gardens of a profane heart.

One night etches itself,
Upon the heart’s firmaments.
Gentle words and warm kisses,
And aimless meanderings together.
‘Twixt two forlorn strangers, behold!
A flame is kindled, a warmth born:
An undying bond that forever lasts.
